York Welcomes Kyiv City Ballet
The BID were delighted to play a part when the Kyiv City Ballet visited this week for a special performance at York Theatre Royal to benefit UNICEF’s Ukraine appeal.
Following an invite from Theatre Royal Chief Executive, Tom Bird, many partners across the city came together to make it possible for the ballet company to visit and perform.
The York BID decorated the Mansion House for a reception to welcome the Kyiv City Ballet to York. The company received a Civic welcome at York Mansion House on Monday Evening, 13th June.
The BID team collected messages of support, love and solidarity from people in the city which were attached to the Mansion House railings for the ballet dancers.
