Meet Inka the Polar Bear on St Helen’s Square in York

York BID is delighted to announce a truly special event this January as Inka the Polar Bear makes her way to St Helen’s Square.

Experience an unforgettable encounter with Inka, a life-sized puppet, who will be accompanied by her adorable cubs. This one-of-a-kind event invites families, children, and visitors of all ages to experience the magic of meeting the planets largest carnivore.

Carl Alsop, Operations Manager at York BID, said: “We’re so excited to bring Inka the Polar Bear to York this January. This interactive and immersive event is a fantastic way to draw visitors into the city centre and create a memorable experience for everyone. We can’t wait to see the smiles on people’s faces as they meet Inka and her cubs.”

York BID is committed to creating magical moments in the city centre that appeal to residents and visitors. This January, you’re invited to interact with the incredible life-sized polar bear, soothe her cubs, and capture a unique photo to remember this enchanting encounter.
