So, as part of York Business Week 2017, the York BID invited the Local Data Company‘s Matthew Hopkinson to come to the city to explain the latest findings – and the future trends.
In a fascinating 45-minute talk, followed by a Q&A, held at the beautiful Grays Court Hotel, Matthew covered everything from footfall to shop vacancy rates, rated York against selected benchmarks, and made some predictions about what will happen next.
