Street Rangers are an essential part of the BID team - friendly, helpful, and engaging with businesses on a daily business while patrolling the city centre.
Businesses can call on the Rangers as an essential first line of support. Their extensive training comes into play when called upon to deal with anti-social behaviour, shoplifters or other disorderly behaviour that impacts on people enjoying our beautiful city.

Anti-Social Loitering Scheme
The BID rangers help deter anti-social activity on the doorstep of BID businesses through our anti-loitering scheme.
Businesses who sign up to the scheme give the Rangers permission to ask those who engage in anti-social behaviour activity on their property to leave. It also allows the Rangers to provide information and support advice to those who need it.
A sticker on your shopfront will indicate that the business participates in this scheme and has given consent for action to be taken.
